Some of the quotes were so short that it was nearly impossible to solve them, as there weren't enough context clues. In addition, the font was in regular lower-case (first letters of sentences, etc capitalized).which I found to be awkward as well.
This one was inferior to the other. I love working Cryptogram puzzles, and my husband bought me this and another book of them for Christmas.
Anyone who regularly does these puzzles will probably find this a very awkward way to do it. My main problem with this book was that there was no room above the letters to write in the code letters.
Apparently, you're supposed to solve these by writing the answers on the provided line below. I am used to solving puzzles in all-caps.
So, I would pass on this one, and go with "Cryptogram a Day" by Louise Moll instead.
